FAQ COVID 19
1: Health & Fitness Club
The Pool will be open from the 2nd June along with the gym, there will be restricted numbers in the pool and time slots will be given for when the pool & gym is busy.
2: Charter Bar & Eatery
The Charter Bar & Eatery will be operating on a restaurant basis for residents only from the 2nd June and will be serving in Charter Bar & Eatery Menu, alcohol can be served to tables while consuming food.
3: Dining
Outdoor dining will be available for all non-residents from the 7th June booking is essential. Kelly’s Steak House dining for the public is still to be confirmed.
4: Kids Club
We are awaiting confirmation regarding Kids Club. We are hoping to have it running in line with the guidelines come June 2nd.
5: Small Groups/ Family Groups
We expect a single household or family will be able to be accommodated up to say 6 persons. In instances where a traveling group are too big for a single table, we will most certainly make every effort to sit singular larger parties in neighbouring seats. Free movement around the bar/restaurant or movement from table to table will be restricted under the new rules of social distancing. Regrettably, Kids sitting at a designated table will be expected to remain seated at that table and not roam freely around the hotel. Small group bookings e.g. confirmations, communions and christenings we are still awaiting details to the numbers we can accommodate in a safe setting. We would ask all our patrons to bear with us in these very changing times and we apologise for any inconvenience caused by the strict enforcement of these rules. They are of course necessary for the safety of all our guests and the greater community at large.
6: Room Service
A room service menu will be provided, and alcohol can be provided when ordering your meal.
7: Breakfast
Midlands Park Hotel has always served an ala carte menu for breakfast to your table and will continue to do so. We will now be simply adding more table served options such as toast, juice and cereals. Gluten-free options will be available from your server. Continental Breakfast will be served to the table. Room service slots will also be available for you to get breakfast delivered to your door at a charge of €6 per person.
8: Entertainment in The Bar
At the time of writing government guidelines prohibit any entertainment in the Charter Bar & Eatery.
9: Cleaning Procedures
We will be increasing all our cleaning, health and safety procedures in the Midlands Park Hotel. Hourly deep clean of touchpoints: door handles, lift controls, counters, bannisters, ATM will be in place. After Use: Menus, Tables, Key Cards, credit card machines will all be disinfected. Cutlery, Crockery and Utensils are all professionally washed at 82c. Hand Sanitiser Stations: All Entrances, outside lifts, various points throughout the hotel.
Laundry: Is available at an extra charge.
Bedrooms: The Hotel will be adhering to all government guidelines for bedroom cleaning.
10: Social Distancing.
At the moment we are currently working on procedures in both our Restaurants, Bar and Public areas to ensure social distancing will be in place for when we open.
11: Staff Training
All staff have completed Covid-19 induction training and each department has received in-depth training in how to keep their departments COVID -19 safe in relation to cleaning procedures and social distancing. We have a COVID 19 Leaders overseeing a COVID 19 task force team whom are ensuring the safety measures implemented are adhered to throughout your stay with us.
12: Spa
Spa will re-open on the 2nd of June.
