‘Marie, Firstly a big thank you for all your hard work and dedication throughout the planning of my wedding which was made very special within the Midlands Park hotel ! From the atmosphere and setting it really makes the day so calming, enjoyable and romantic all in one! The staff are amazing and so friendly throughout the hotel. The food was something else I couldn’t believe it,  I had some people go back for thirds even though they were full because they said it was so good they couldn’t stop, I also had three vegans who said it was the best meal they had ever gotten. The lovely terrace placed just outside of the ballroom is just beautiful I would recommend many photos out there for other couples! I cannot recommend the hotel enough from start to finish I couldn’t fault anything. You and your team went above and beyond to make my day and I am forever grateful. I cannot thank you enough for making my day so special.’

‘John and I were recently married in the Midlands Park Hotel and we had the absolute best day. The Midlands Hotel looked absolutely stunning and as always the staff were excellent. On the day of the wedding, they could not have done more for us and the guests were complementing them throughout the entire day. The food was absolutely delicious and everybody was so happy with their food and afters. We were just so happy with how everything went. The hotel made our day so easy for us so Thank you Midlands for that. We planned our wedding in a short time frame and we could not have done this without our excellent wedding coordinator Marie Healy. We met with Marie back in August and four months later we celebrated our wedding day. Marie was so approachable and great to offer guidance and recommendations throughout. Any questions or concerns we brought to Marie, she was prompt to get back to us and always set us on the right track. Leading up to the day when stress levels were rising a little, she always reassured us and told us the Midlands team were there to take care of it. On the day, she was so attentive and most importantly calming to be around. She met us at the door and was there to guide us throughout the whole day. I cannot thank her enough for all of her help throughout our entire experience even when our emails may have consumed her a little. We started our journey with a wedding coordinator and we left with a friend. Marie is a lady and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. ‘Our Overall experience with the Midlands Park Hotel was just Incredible. From Marie the wedding co-ordinator who was always on hand to take a call with any queries was a true professional who went above and beyond to make our day totally stress free to the Hotel Management and Staff who were so helpful and friendly to ourselves and to all our guests. Compliments to the chef and kitchen staff for the food on the day it was AMAZING and plenty of second helpings to go around. Would highly recommend the venue it’s such a central location for anyone thinking of booking their wedding you will not be disappointed.’

‘We cannot recommend the Midlands Park Hotel enough. It is such a beautiful venue, it was fab for photos and had a lovely atmosphere. Marie, Ana and all The staff at Midlands were out of this world going above and beyond for us and all of our guests. Our guests could not stop commenting on how great the staff were and how nice the food was, with very generous portions. Marie was very helpful and responded promptly to all of our emails and enquiries and was a pleasure to deal with. Everything about the hotel was perfect, the staff, food, decor, even down to the rooms. We would highly recommend it, and can’t wait to go back for a stay.’

‘We would like to thank Marie and all the staff at Midlands Park Hotel. This was third time lucky for us! Throughout all the postponing and rearranging Marie and all other staff members did everything possible to help us. On the day all staff members were excellent, they couldn’t do enough for us or for our guests. All of our guests couldn’t praise the food enough. They all loved that the main course was buffet, they loved that they could pick and choose what to have. We would highly recommend Midlands Park Hotel to any couple looking for the perfect location for their Wedding day or any function. ‘For all you couples out there looking for something exceptional for your special wedding day… the search is over. Marie and all of her team were outstanding, from the very first encounter with her, she was full of positivity and enthusiasm which was so comforting. She will be there 200% to assist your every request. From the very start everything in the planning was made so easy and we really didn’t think about the reception side of this too much during the wedding planning as we felt it was being completely taken care of and we were right to think so. Everything about the day was perfect and the staff couldn’t do enough for us or our guests. We ended up staying the night after the wedding as well and again the staff went above and beyond. The food was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, including dinner, late night finger food and breakfast. We ate in the Charter Bar the following day too and it was also outstanding. All staff in every area of the hotel are extremely friendly and so accommodating. You will not regret your decision to book Midlands Park Hotel for your dream wedding. They gave us the best day ever!!’

‘We were lucky enough to recently get married in the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise, and cannot recommend this hotel enough. As we were one of many couples due to marry during the Covid pandemic, we were nearly three years dealing with the hotel for our wedding. We had to postpone once and the hotel could not have been more accommodating with offering us new dates and transferring over deposits and package details etc. In the last year Marie has come in as the wedding planner in the hotel, and you couldn’t be in safer hands! She was a pleasure to deal with, so helpful and responsive, even emailing over make-up, tan and music supplier suggestions the day before the wedding when we were dealing with last minute Covid cancellations. The attention to detail on the day was fantastic with Marie, Anna, Rian, Joe and the team just ensuring everything went so smoothly. Many guests commented on the food on the day, both food and drink were plentiful and the quality was fabulous. I honestly don’t feel we could have been looked after any better elsewhere and I couldn’t recommend the hotel enough in terms of service, flexibility, comfort and value! 100% recommend to other couples based on our recent experience. Thanks to all in the Midlands Park Hotel for helping to make our day so very special!’

‘I don’t even know where to start. Thank you and thanks to all the staff in the hotel, for just absolutely nailing everything. It was just absolutely perfect, from start to finish. All the guests are raving about it, the atmosphere, the decorations, the staff, the food, the rooms, the set up, EVERYTHING!!!!! I’m still getting messages. I don’t know how to thank you all enough. ‘We got married in August 2020, a crazy time for weddings, given that we were in and out of lockdowns and restricted in numbers. But we just wanted a small, intimate, civil ceremony with a small gathering of family and closest friends. The team at the Midlands Park provided exactly that, and better! From start to finish, the events team Emma and Joanna understood exactly what we were aiming for and accommodated all our wishes. From the beautifully but simply decorated function room for the ceremony, to the delicious BBQ on the adjacent terrace, we felt like we were in our own private bubble, and pampered all day. Communication with the hotel was excellent all along, food was delicious, and great value! It was a brilliant day, better than we could have imagined, and the sun even shone all day, what are the chances?!’
